This Cookie Policy explains how Postbrander ("Postbrander", the "Service") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our app. We keep cookie usage to a minimum.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies allow a site to remember things like that you're logged in, or to remember your preferences across visits.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
Required for the Service to function. Without these, you cannot log in or use the dashboard.
- Supabase authentication session cookies, keep you signed in and tied to your account.
- CSRF and security tokens, protect against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
Functional cookies
Remember non-essential preferences such as UI state or last selected view. These are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies in some cases.
Analytics cookies
We ask before we set these. On your first visit you get a notice at the foot of the page. Until you accept, Google is never contacted, no script is downloaded from it and no cookie is set. Refuse, or ignore the notice, and that stays true.
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see which parts of the app get used. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<property>, which recognise a returning browser so one person is not counted twice. They last two years. Postbrander works exactly the same either way.
We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for traffic numbers and page performance. Those set no cookies at all and no identifier, which is why they need no consent.
Advertising cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Changing your mind takes one click, because consent has to be as easy to withdraw as it was to give.

Turning it off also deletes the two cookies rather than just stopping new ones, so nothing is left in your browser after you have said no. The choice is stored in your browser, not on our server, so it applies to this browser on this device.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or remove existing ones. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Postbrander.
