Billing, plans, and cancellation

Postbrander billing is run through Stripe. No contracts, no cancellation fees, cancel any time. Here is how everything works.

Plans

Free includes seven posts a month with basic features. Basic at £9.99/mo unlocks unlimited posts, all generation modes, voice-to-post, repurpose mode, carousels with themes, and the daily reactive prompts. Every new signup gets 60 days of full Basic free before dropping to the free tier. Full comparison on the pricing page.

Upgrading

Go to Settings → Billing and pick the plan you want. The upgrade takes effect immediately and your limit increases straight away. Stripe pro-rates the cost, you pay only for the remaining days in your billing period.

Downgrading

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep the higher plan until then.

Plan limits are enforced at publish time, not just at generation time. If you drop from Basic to Free and have scheduled posts above the Free limit (7 posts/month), the publish cron will move the excess posts back to your drafts with a note explaining why. You can then reschedule them in a later month or upgrade to publish them now. Nothing is deleted, you keep the content.

BYOK

Bring Your Own Key lets you connect your own Anthropic API key and reduce your Postbrander plan fee by £5/mo. Go to Settings → API Keys and paste your key. Postbrander uses it for all generations on your account. You pay Anthropic directly for AI usage and us for the software. Remove the key at any time to switch back.

Cancellation

Go to Settings → Billing and click Cancel. You keep paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which you are moved to the free plan. Scheduled posts up to that point continue to publish.

If you want to delete your account entirely, click Delete Account. This wipes all your data, disconnects LinkedIn, and cancels the subscription immediately.

Refunds

If something breaks or the tool is not fit for purpose, email james@seoburf.com and we will refund the current month. For change-of-mind cancellations we honour your current billing period and do not renew.

Invoices

Stripe emails an invoice after every successful charge. You can also download past invoices in Settings → Billing. If you need a VAT invoice with custom details, email us and we will sort it.
