Your data, your choice

Postbrander is UK-based, EU-hosted, and GDPR-compliant. You can download everything we store about you any time, and delete your account with one click.

Download your data

Settings → scroll to Your data → click Download my data.

You'll get a JSON file named postbrander-export-<id>-<date>.json containing:

  • Your profile (name, email, plan, created date)
  • Posts (every draft, queued, posted, failed — including content, status, scheduled time)
  • Topic bank
  • Voice profiles (settings, example posts, rules)
  • User settings (default post time, days, daily approval preference)
  • Subscription history
  • Last 500 activity log entries
  • Monthly usage records

What's excluded: encrypted LinkedIn OAuth tokens (sensitive, not useful to you in a download), BYOK Anthropic keys (same reason). Everything else is in the file.

Delete your account

Settings → scroll to the red Delete Account section → confirm.

You'll be asked to type a confirmation phrase before the delete fires. Once confirmed, we permanently delete:

  • Your profile and account settings
  • All LinkedIn connections and posting tokens
  • All posts (drafts, queued, posted records, comments)
  • All topics, voice profiles, performance insights
  • Subscription, billing history, usage records
  • Uploaded images and videos in storage

This is irreversible. We don't keep a backup copy to restore from. If you want a record before deletion, run the data export first.

Your already-published LinkedIn posts stay on LinkedIn (we can't and don't touch them). Only your Postbrander records of them get removed.

Cancelling without deleting

If you just want to stop paying without losing your data, you can downgrade to Free instead. Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Your account stays, you keep your post history and voice profiles, but you drop to the Free tier limits.

We don't auto-delete inactive accounts. You can come back any time.

Where your data lives

Postgres database hosted on Supabase (Frankfurt / EU). Encrypted at rest. LinkedIn OAuth tokens are additionally encrypted at the column level with AES-256-GCM, decrypted only at publish time.

We don't train AI models on your content. The Anthropic API requests that generate your posts use Claude in the standard inference mode, not in any training-eligible setting.
