Scheduling posts

Postbrander schedules posts to publish automatically at the times you choose. Here is how the scheduler works and how to queue a whole week in one go.

Scheduling one post

  1. 1

    Approve a draft

From your drafts queue, review a generated post and click Approve. Approved posts are ready to schedule but have not been queued yet.

  2. 2

    Pick a time slot

Click Schedule on the approved post. Pick a date and time on the calendar. Postbrander suggests high-engagement slots based on past performance.

  3. 3

    Confirm

The post moves to the scheduled queue. You can drag it to a different slot, edit it up to the publish moment, or cancel and send it back to drafts.

  4. 4

    Publish automatically

At the scheduled time, a background job publishes the post through the official LinkedIn API. You receive a notification when it goes live.

Auto-scheduling a batch

Use Batch Generate to create five or seven drafts from your topic bank at once. On the batch review screen, click Auto-schedule. Postbrander distributes the approved posts across your target weekdays at your default posting time, skipping slots that are already filled.

You can still edit any post up to the moment it publishes. The batch workflow saves the generation time, not the review time.

The content calendar

The calendar view shows your whole month at a glance. Each slot is editable — drag to reschedule, double-click to retime, right-click to duplicate. Use it to spot unintended patterns like five text posts in a row.

Posting times

Postbrander suggests slots based on when your specific audience engages most. Early in your account we use sensible defaults (weekday mornings and early evenings). After a few weeks, the suggestions adapt to your real data.
